How to email a college coach
The rules of a great email
- You write it, not your parent. Coaches want to hear from the player.
- Keep it short. A coach should be able to read it in 30 seconds.
- Send it to each coach separately and use their name and their school. Never send a mass email.
- Put your grad year, position and club in the subject line.
- Add your highlight video link and your upcoming schedule.
- Follow up every few weeks with new games, grades or video.

No reply? That's normal. Coaches may not be allowed to write back yet, or they may be busy in season. Keep sending updates.
